South African gets okay to cultivate and export cannabis to Canada
South African cannabis business Leaf Botanicals has obtained a license to develop natural medical cannabis for export to Canada. The South African Wellness goods Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) had been the agency that issued the permit.
Leaf Botanicals, which can be headquartered in Northern Cape, spent some time working on securing federal federal government approval for three years. The business has finalized a contract with Canadian cannabis producer Agrotiva Ltd. in front of obtaining the green light to develop the plant.
